Peach Pie with Olive Oil

And again it has come – the season of sweet juicy peaches. And not very sweet either. What do we do with savory peaches? That’s right – we send it to baking.

Today I bring you a simple peach pie recipe. The dough is made with unrefined olive oil, and the resulting cake has an interesting aroma and flavor.

Ingredients for a 21 cm mold

The foundation

  • milk 120 ml.
  • olive oil 120 ml.
  • sugar 150 grams
  • salt 1/4 tsp
  • eggs 1 pc.
  • flour 250 grams
  • baking powder 2/3 tsp
  • peaches 3 pcs.
  • sugar 1 tbsp

Cooking recipe

Mix butter, milk and egg in a bowl.

Sift flour with baking powder and salt into another bowl, mix with sugar.

Pour the liquid mixture into the dry mixture and knead the dough with a whisk.

We transfer to a greased form and level.

Remove the seeds from the peaches, cut the pulp into slices.

We put it on the dough. Sprinkle with sugar.

We send it to the oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake until tender, about 40 minutes.

We take out, cool and serve.
