Honey cake with plums

Well, let’s go over the sinks? It’s time 🙂 I propose a recipe for a simple pie with plums on honey dough. It can be prepared without a mixer – the dough is cooked in vegetable oil and is easily kneaded with just a hand whisk.

Based on this recipe, you can make a pie with pears, apples or quince.

Ingredients for a 24 cm mold

For the test

  • eggs 2 pcs.
  • sour cream 100 grams
  • sugar 100 grams
  • vegetable oil 70 grams
  • honey 100 grams
  • baking powder 2/3 tsp
  • soda 1/2 tsp
  • flour 275 grams

For the top

  • plums 300 grams
  • sugar 1 tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Cooking recipe

We wash the plums. Cut into halves, remove bones.

Combine sugar and all liquid ingredients in a bowl. Mix with a whisk until smooth.

Add flour sifted with baking soda and baking powder and knead the dough.

We transfer the dough into a greased form and level.

Put the plums on top, cut up.

Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. We send it to an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake until tender and a dry match, about 50-60 minutes.

Cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar (optional) and serve.
