  • Peel bananas and cut into slices. If you prefer a richer banana flavor, cut them thicker.
  • Take a cake mold, evenly place half of the sliced ​​​​bananas on the bottom, pour over them with 1/3 of the sour cream.
  • Put ½ of the “Fish” on the mass.
  • Alternate: a layer of the remaining bananas, a third of the cream, the second part of the fish, the last cream.

I used crabmeat from cans (must be lump crab meat however) and frozen cod in the recipe below.

From what, it turns out, only cakes are not made! I recently treated myself to a cake made from “Rybki” biscuits. I must say that it was quite tasty, and most importantly, it was prepared very quickly. Cookies and sour cream (sour cream + sugar + vanilla powder) were mixed in a cup. But for my cookbook, I decided to complicate the recipe a bit by making a creamy soufflé.

To prepare a delicious fish cake, we need

  • 300 grams of fish-type cookies,
  • 100 grams of raisins,
  • 20 grams of instant gelatin,
  • 150 ml of water
  • 700 grams of sour cream,
  • 1 cup of sugar,
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla powder
  • 70-100 grams of chocolate (I have dark),
  • grapes, peaches, apricots or other fruits to taste,
  • 1 pack of colorless cake jelly or regular jelly that matches the color of the fruit.

Cover the cake mold with cling film. Cut apricots or peaches into thin slices and lay them on the bottom of the mold. Dilute the jelly according to the instructions and fill the apricots. Put the mold in the fridge to set the jelly.

Rinse the raisins well and fill with hot water. After it swells, the water must be drained.

Soak gelatin in cold water, leave to swell for 10 minutes. Then heat it up to 60 degrees (stir until the grains are completely dissolved). Set aside to cool down a bit.

If your packaging indicates a different cooking method, then cook according to it without changing the amount of water.

We put the crackers in a large cup (I had fish, circles, hearts).

Combine sour cream with sugar, vanilla powder and beat with a mixer or in a food processor until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then, without stopping whipping, add gelatin and mix everything well.

Put raisins and sour cream in a cup with crackers. Mix everything well and leave to swell for 15-20 minutes.

I, during this time, mixed the whole mass several more times.

We take out the form with frozen jelly from the refrigerator, put about 1/3 of the cracker-sour cream mass into it, sprinkle half the norm of chocolate on top, then another 1/3 of the cookie mixture, the remaining chocolate and then the remaining crackers. Smooth the surface of the cake and put it in the refrigerator until completely solidified. Optionally, you can make the bottom of the cake out of cookies.

When the fish cake has frozen, carefully remove it from the mold, remove the film and serve with tea.
