The apricot season is also in play! The recipe for apricot jam is on its way, but for now, keep the apricot waffles 🙂 The dough for them is prepared with condensed milk and turns out to be soft and with a pleasant sweetness.
It is better to take apricots for these waffles of medium density – not overripe and not green – so that they a) do not crumble into porridge when kneading into the dough and b) do not contrast too much with the dough.
Ingredients for 6 large waffles
- condensed milk 300 grams
- eggs 2 pcs.
- butter 50 grams
- baking powder 1 tsp
- flour 250 grams
- apricots 150 grams
Beat eggs with condensed milk for the dough.
Add flour sifted with salt and baking powder, mix. Add melted butter and knead a not very thick dough.
Cut the apricots into small cubes and add to the dough.
We heat up the waffle iron. We put the dough.
Fry until tender and golden brown.
