Each one of these recipes is TRIED-AND-TRUE. I hope you find some new go-to recipes both you and your family will love.
Tips for Gluten-Free Dinners
Once you learn a few basic principles, you’ll find limitless tasty options for gluten-free cooking. Here are some tips on how to make amazing gluten-free dinners:
- Some ingredients are naturally gluten-free: Don’t stress! Some of the most basic dinner ingredients are naturally gluten-free, such as plain meat, chicken, fish, vegetables, fruits, legumes, cheese, eggs, and nuts.
- Watch out for bottled and boxed foods: Many shelf-stable foods have additives that contain gluten. If you’re buying store-bought rice pilaf, couscous, canned beans, etc., read the label to make sure it’s gluten-free.
- Use gluten replacements: If you’re baking a recipes that typically requires gluten, the meal won’t come together without it. Gluten makes things stick together, so you’ll need to replace it with gluten-free flour, xanthan gum, or guar gum.
- Choose your pasta wisely: Luckily, starches like rice and potatoes are naturally gluten-free. But if you’re swapping out for gluten-free pasta, choose wisely. Not all gluten-free pastas have a great texture, but I LOVE Jovial Brown Rice Penne and Jovial Egg Tagliatelle!
- Make your own dressings and sauces: Like other shelf-stable foods, many store-bought salad dressings and sauces contain gluten. While you can buy gluten-free versions, it’s usually cheaper (and tastier) to make your own!

Living gluten-free does not mean you have to skip out on your favorites. Far from it! No surprise, we’re all about having our pasta, pizza, and tacos and eating them too. So whether you’re celiac, trying to accommodate party guests, or simply needing to cut out gluten, we’ve got plenty of amazing recipes that you’ll be surprised just happen to be gluten-free (like our one-pan coconut lime chicken). The big win? You can still eat all the best comfort foods like stuffed peppers, Instant Pot pho, and homemade gluten-free pasta without feeling like you’re missing out on anything.
When it comes to making gluten-free recipes, you’re going to want to watch out for a couple ingredients that may seem harmless but actually contain gluten. Soy sauce, which contains gluten, comes in a gluten-free version, and you can use tamari in a pinch for all those stir-fries. Tortilla chips are nearly always gluten-free, thanks to corn as a base. Worcestershire sauce, which you’ll need for our Reuben bowls, is almost always gluten-free, but do look out for malt vinegar (which does contain gluten).
Now that you know what to look out for, you can get to cooking up our recipes for Instant Pot pork puttanesca, chili cheese sweet potato casserole, and feta & herb-crusted salmon. $5 says nobody even notices you made an entirely gluten-free feast!

Classic Stuffed Peppers
Of all the food you can stuff, stuffed peppers are at the top of our list. Bell peppers are large enough to hold a lot, strong enough to keep their shape in the oven, and mild enough in flavor to go with just about anything. Here we’re filling them with beefy, tomato rice, and shredded Monterey Jack cheese, but you can customize them to fit your taste.

Buckwheat Galettes With Ham & Egg
Like their sweet cousins, crêpes, galettes hail from Brittany, France. Because they’re made with buckwheat flour, galettes are extra nutty, making them perfect for pairing with savory fillings for a quick dinner this fall. Here, they’re filled with the classic ham, egg, and cheese combination, known as “galette complète” in French, but feel free to switch it up if you like.

Crispy Chipotle Chicken Tacos
Extra-crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside, these tacos are so much fun to make and eat. Putting cheese directly in your skillet might sound wrong, but it works! Once off-heat, the cheese starts to harden and crisps up, giving the texture of a crunchy taco shell, but super-delicious.

Tuscan Butter Shrimp
We like using shrimp without their shells because it’s easier to eat—peeling shrimp when they’re covered in sauce can get messy. If you’re down for the extra work, though, leaving the shells on will lead to a more flavorful sauce. Shrimp shells provide tons of delicious seafood flavor, which is why they’re often a main ingredient in seafood stock.

Halloumi Salad
We think it’s due time that halloumi, the brined Cypriot cheese, got its time in the spotlight. Besides the delightfully squeaky texture (where the cheese curd lovers at?) and the tangy, salty flavor, the high melting point is really what makes this cheese stand out—when heat is applied, it develops a delicious golden crust that is so delightful in this salad.

Cauliflower Pizza Crust
Possibly our favorite use of cauliflower as a culinary master of disguise is in pizza crust. It might sound crazy, but it can be a delicious and healthy alternative to the classic. In this easy, gluten-free pizza recipe, you’re basically making cauliflower rice as base the base for your crust.

Air Fryer Pork Chops
Most of the time, we don’t get very excited over pork chops. Often overdone, they come out dry, sad, and flavorless. Cooking them in an air fryer changes all that. Due to the intense heat circulation that happens, the outside crisps slightly while the inside stays nice and juicy.

Saag Paneer
Chopping all the baby spinach (a whole pound!) is the hardest part of this Indian recipe. To save time, microwave it first so it steams, then chop.
